Editorial and lifestyle photographer, Leon Foggitt approached me to create a brand image that would help reflect the patience and care he puts into each photo. We humanized his offering by focusing on Leon’s name and the personal connection he feels towards his work and its subjects. After some research into the graphic language surrounding Leon’s photographic process, we arrived at a neat monogram inspired by the marks found within a camera’s viewfinder. To support this, we also created a logotype in a complimenting style that works independently and alongside the monogram. The supporting stationary set was then printed using a monochromatic colour palette and high-end print finishes including a blind emboss of the monogram allowing it to sit harmoniously alongside Leon’s photography without overpowering the imagery.
